In our October newsletter, we shared the newest addition to the print production room: our brand new HP DesignJet XL 36″ multifunction wide-format printer, capable of doing architectural drawings, posters, banners, fatheads, vinyl, maps, and so much more!
But, alas, our new printer hadn’t yet been given a name (we name all of our equipment, as they each have their own personalities and specialties). So, we put a shout-out in our last newsletter to have our guests and clients suggest names for our new machine. And, wow! What a response!
Thank you to all who wrote in, stopped in, texted, and called with suggestions for our new printer. Our dear long-term guest Rosanne suggested our favorite, and the name “Printcess” has now become official.
With Printcess, we can now also make scans and copies of large things like blueprints, maps, photos, and more. This is a service we’ve been asked to provide for a while now and are so excited to now have the equipment to make that a reality.
