Grand Island High School is one of a select few in Western New York that has a remarkable tech department, equipped with 3D printers. The students and teachers do wonderful things with these printers and their other equipment, including winning local engineering and technology competitions (6 years in a row), like the one held a few weeks ago at Niagara Community College!
I’m really honored and happy to be working with the tech department this year and sell their etched Grand Island glasses in my store, donating much of the profits from the sale back to them. Since I started selling these glasses last year, several organizations have also come by to purchase them for their events and celebrations, namely the GIHS Class of 1966 and the Sheridan-Transit Rod & Gun Club.
Please come by and check out the students’ work on display in my store, even if you do not buy the glasses. It’s a win-win for the community and the school to show this support.
I thank you again for your trust and your business.
With gratitude, effervescence and mirth,
Fahim Mojawalla
