A couple of months ago, Seema and Fahim were approached by wikiHow, the “most trusted how-to site on the internet,” about becoming co-authors for articles on shipping and logistics. The staff at wikiHow explained that more and more of its users are asking questions about shipping and related fields, yet their ability to answer them was lacking in many areas and they needed to bring on trusted, reputable members of these industries and fields to assist.
Last month, Seema and Fahim had a fantastic video call with staff at wikiHow and, as a result of that interaction, the invitation to co-author was not only solidified, but also the title of “Shipping and Logistics Experts” for wikiHow was granted to the pair. Going forward, when wikiHow users have questions, Seema and Fahim will be on call to help!
It wasn’t just the fact that Seema and Fahim recently celebrated 19 years in business at Island Ship Center that got wikiHow’s attention. It also wasn’t just the fact that each served as volunteers on the board of directors for the national non-profit Association of Mail & Business Centers (AMBC), with Fahim even serving as Board Chair during some very formative years for the organization. It also wasn’t just the fact that Yusuf, Fahim, and Seema are coaches and owners of AYM High Consultants, the premier industry coaching group for the mailbox, retail shipping, print, and business center industry. But rather it was all of these facts combined, topped off by the impeccable five-star reputation of their businesses, thanks to the most amazing community of guests and clients that support them.
This wikiHow recognition is an incredible honor, and Seema and Fahim both want to express their deepest gratitude to all who have helped them get to this point; to all who have supported, encouraged, stood by through good times and challenging times, mentored, coached, and cared. The honor is indeed a shared one among their entire network of uplifters.
