One of our clients of many, many years recently lost her mother. When her brother and sister came up to Grand Island from Florida to be with family, they had wanted to take back with them some precious seasonal ceramic pieces that their mother had hand painted. But, they were nervous about taking the very fragile items on the plane and didn’t feel comfortable packing them themselves. Luckily, they knew just the place to go!
After working with the family, shipping seemed to be wiser than trying to carry the items on a flight, so we did a very careful double boxing technique, wrapping each of the ceramic pieces individually and thoroughly, in order to protect them in transit. When they arrived, the outer cartons had some damage, but because we prepared for that circumstance through double boxing, the pieces inside were unharmed.
Every time we are trusted with such important heirlooms, we are honored…and we do our absolute best. Thank you, dear family, for your trust.
