Recently, one of my clients frantically came into the store (on a Friday morning), perplexed and upset that her sister, vacationing in Montana, had forgotten her prescription medication at home (on Grand Island)!
She asked reluctantly if could ship the medication in time for Saturday delivery so her sister would not miss a dose.
Needless to say, it arrived and Janet, the recipient, was so delighted, that she emailed me some kind words, which I’m sharing below:
“I unpacked my duffel bag in happy anticipation of a glorious visit to Glacier Park and a week at a Montana guest ranch, only to discover that my very important medication was sitting at home in the drawer. For the first ten days, I would have no cell phone service at the park or the mountain ranch. It was a Friday, when I knew my doctor’s office would not be available to take my call until Monday. I called my sister for help, and she picked up my pills and took them to Island Shipping. Fahim overnighted them to the town where I’d be staying the next evening. Miraculously they were waiting at the motel front desk when I arrived.
Fahim is the definition of superb customer serivce. I thank him and my sister, who overcame all the constraints of time and distance to solve my problem and ensure a happy vacation. They didn’t, however, do anything about the rain that fell for four days out of of our six at the ranch.”
